29./30.06.24 – Day 36/37 from the Baltics solo on a BMW R1150 RT
3 nights in Krakow, 2 days of exploring the city.
Krakow is the second largest city and one of the oldest in Poland. The city dates back to the 7th century and the Old Town is UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1978.
On my first day of exploring, I visited the Old Town. It was hot, around 30 degrees and I started too late so it was more hot…lol.
The downside of nice cities is, that there are thousands of other tourists around. What honestly is for me not really funny.
Anyways, the Old Town is nice and worth a visit for sure.

After walking around for several hours and almost 10 km, it was time to find food – a very big and delicious burger was my choice.
In the internet I read that the Jewish quarter of Krakow is worth a visit, so on the next day I gave it a try and got really disappointed. Ok, many many coffee shops but as well not much to see. Houses full of graffiti (but not the real art), dirty and overall nit nice (for me)

On the way back to the hotel, there are some nice views as well.
Now I finished and tired with sightseeing on this trip – from now on, it’s just riding on hopefully nice roads in the Tatra Mountains. I will start tomorrow going to Slovakia, passing by Zakopane.
Stay tuned and enjoy yourself guy’s!!
