Sisaket (TH) to Singapore – Ep 12

Street Art, Satun Thailand

Thailand – Satun

Off the island…I am happy to be. 3 nights where enough for me.

The ride from Ko Lanta to Satun was nothing really special. Boring, mostly on main highways.
To soften our selves, we visited 2 beaches.
Pak Meng Beach was very nice and a great ride along the coast.

The second beach, Takham Beach, was not really great. But a pleasant ride to there.

In Satun, we found a valuable resort to stay close to the city center for 700 THB called Satun Boutique Resort.

Time to go for a walk and explore…
Satun is quite a cute city, for a province capital very quiet and relaxed.

Like in many cities in the South of Thailand, you find a lot of street art. We had a lot of fun going for the street art hunt….

There is not only street art in Satun, the Central Mosque of the province is located in Satun.
The architecture is Malaysian style and pretty impressive.

The old clock tower of Satun…

Travel tip for Satun and roti lovers.

The best place for authentic roti is a restaurant named „Roti Bang Fan“

We tried it by ourselves, very very delicious.

All in all a pleasant day – 317 km ride and a great city to explore.

Find the trip details in the Calimoto link.

Ride safe guy‘s and enjoy yourself!!
